Seagulls opened on 5 July 2004.

The building is a large detached Victorian house with an extension at the rear with a large play area.

The nursery is a Neighbourhood Nursery and it's a project in Partnership with Sure Start Margate. It is available to all of the community.

It is our intention to offer hot meals to the children in September.

The nursery has 3 rooms and is set up as Puffins for 0-1 year olds, Penguins for 1-2 year olds and Pelicans for 2-4 year olds. The children are however assessed for each of the rooms by stages not ages.

Each room is well equipped for the age range and the staff are a mixture of qualified and training people, covering a large age range.
