Leisureforce declared finalists in FIA CtGF National Awards 2005
Following on from the success of 2004 when we received the FIA Award for Excellence, we have again been nominated as finalists in this year's award ceremony taking place in London this month.
The awards recognise the outstanding achievement within the leisure industry from both the private and public sectors and are one of the industry's most prestigious accolades. The awards also go on to reward companies and operators of facilities in the work that they have achieved throughout the National Commit to Get Fit Summer Campaign with 5 categories being recognised from Charity Fundraising, number of people involved in getting active to Innovative ideas and overall Excellence.
Thanet Leisureforce's Operations Manager, Mr Warren Reeves said……..
"This is another great opportunity to put Thanet on the map. Last year was the first time that a local leisure operator was recognised as being up there with the best and with the Award for Excellence in 2004 came a huge challenge to the team on how we could improve on our performance."
He went on to say "Not only have we been shortlisted again for the Award for Excellence but have also been shortlisted in 3 other categories and received 2 shortlistings in one therefore giving us 5 finalist places in 4 categories. This is a great achievement as there are only 3 finalised in each category."
He added " This has only been achieved through the hard work and dedication of the staff together with the support from our customers who have really got behind this year's campaign ".
The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, 27th October and we will keep you posted on our achievement following the awards. |
