Thanet Leisureforce Launch new scheme.

Following the recent annoucements from the Government of the withdrawl of the current free swim programme for the Over 60s and 16s and under Thanet Leisureforce have, in partnership with Thanet District Council and Eastern and Coastal Kent NHS launched their own swimming initiative to allow the community to continue recieving the benifits that regualar exercise and in particular swimming can bring.

The current Government scheme will close as from the 31st July 2010 however those already using the scheme together with new customers can continue to swim for free at both Hartsdown Leisure Centre and Ramsgate Swim Centre following the purchase of the new "Big Splash 2" Card.

The new scheme will be available until 31st August 2010 for those aged 60 and over and 16 and under and give free swimming until 31st march 2011.
